Some small games I designed, implemented or otherwise contributed to during my studies and free time. They are listed in order from the most recently made game.
All downloadable digital games only work on Windows environments.
Game Jam
A minimalist, single player abstract puzzle platformer that uses visual storytelling. It's short, calm, and easy going. This was done as a solo project as part of the Malta GGJ 2019.
Game Jam
Malta GGJ 2018 Popular Vote Winner
A cutesy coop party game where gameplay revolves around resource management and communication. Exchange matching sets of colours with your teammates to avoid incoming hazards for as long as possible.
Game Jam
An experiment to create a simple physics-based party game in 3D using the Unity game engine. Works great with up to 4 XInput compatible controllers.
Game Jam
A routine trip to IKEA inspires a quirky little timesink of a game. Listen to your partner's instructions and pick out the product codes that match the numbers being shouted at you. Fail and get fired.
6-Hour Design Project
A tiny autobiographical game design doodle to try using games to deliver a message on my own terms with the minimal effort possible.
Coursework
A prototype board game that incorporates procedural generation through the use of a digital component to experiment with its effects on players and gameplay.
A game lasts between 30 and 45 minutes depending the number of players and the quest chosen.

Coursework
A "persuasive" game dealing with the cyber bullying flavour of the month, ask.fm. The goal is to keep your popularity up as long as possible by answering questions given to you by complete strangers.
Coursework
A design project that focused on the process moreso than on the game. The game idea was designed in collaboration with a specific recipient in mind as the core audience, which resulted in Cakescavators; a MotherLoad clone that was thematically customized for the recipient.

Game Jam
Simple platforming made complex through a simple contrivance. Your controls change throughout gameplay, and you need to continually re-learn how to play it.
This is a party game, so you'll need some friends to play it with. Having 2 Xbox controllers installed will improve your overall experience too.

Coursework
A Tabletop RPG for one GM and 2-4 players. This was designed to focus primarily on freedom of expression and the narrative of the story, while still providing a coherent game system to tie it all together.

Coursework
An experimental RPG I designed and implemented to explore the effects of (rather clumsily) excising the mechanic of leveling and grinding from traditional Japanese style RPGs.
The game can be completed in about 15-30 minutes, depending on your playstyle.
